Call for ECORD Panel Members
The ECORD Science Support and Advisory Committee (ESSAC) has opened a Call for nominations of ECORD members in the following panels of the New IODP Science Advisory Structure (http://www.iodp.org/new-program):
* Proposal Evaluation Panel (PEP)
Call for experts in the field of marine geosciences (e.g. Paleoceanography, Geochemistry, Petrology, Geohazards); replacement of members from United Kingdom, France and an ECORD country outside United Kingdom, France and Germany.
* Technology Panel (TP)
Call for experts in the field of marine geosciences; replacement of members from United Kingdom and Germany.
Qualified people of all ECORD nationalities, however, are highly encouraged to apply, because from all applicants candidates may be selected who will serve as alternates for ECORD members of the respective panel.
The deadline is June 23, 2011.
