Distinguished Lecturer Program: Call for Nominations
2012/2013 DLP
The ECORD Science Support & Advisory Committee (ESSAC) is now inviting nominations of lecturers, including self-nominations, for the 2012/2013 Distinguished Lecturer Program. This lecture series, given by leading scientists involved with IODP, is designed to bring the exciting scientific discoveries of IODP to the geosciences community.
Lecturers will be nominated for a period of 18 months and will be expected to deliver at least 6 lectures. Travel costs will be provided by ESSAC and the host institutions. Please see the ESSAC document for more information. The deadline to apply is May 21, 2012. We request that all candidates copy the Coordinator (coordinator@mail.iodpcanada.ca) when applications are emailed to the ESSAC Office.
